This module focuses on the causes and risk factors for diabetes, as well as the different types of appropriate treatment options and their pharmacological effects. This module also provides an overview of non-pharmacological options, and the benefits of exercise and dietary considerations. On completion of this module, it is expected the reader will have an enhanced understanding of the nature of diabetes and how it can best be managed using a combined approach.
