This Q & A module explores the use of herbal medicinal products (HMPs) in a number of different patient groups. The interactions of HMPs with conventional medications and monitoring of patients is explored. The use of HMPs in children, women experiencing menopausal symptoms, and pregnant women are also explored. The use of herbs such as agnus castus, arnica, black cohosh, echinacea, garlic, ginger, ginkgo, green tea, sage, St John’s wort and saw palmetto are addressed.
