This module is focused on rheumatoid arthritis, it’s causes, prevalence and diagnosis. On completion of this module, it is expected that the reader will have an enhanced clinical understanding of the condition, including the different types of rheumatoid arthritis and treatment options and their potential side-effects. Arthritis is a general term used for the condition; however, there are over 100 types of arthritis. The two most common types of arthritis are osteoarthritis and rheumatoid arthritis (RA). RA is one of the most debilitating forms of the condition.
